Dr. Mark Amir is a licensed physical therapist who is the founder and owner of Madison Physical Therapy. For more than two decades, he has helped countless people- as their physical therapist, professor and mentor. His success and the success of the practice comes from the treatment of each individual like a million dollar athlete. Mark's philosophy of helping to guide his patients, students, employees and fellow PTs achieve their goals is by utilizing natural talents and strengths, adjusting for weaknesses, and breaking a plan into simple action steps.
Mark speaks nationally and locally at universities, community events and American Physical Therapy Association Conferences. He is a University Professor teaching the latest evidence-based health care to graduate physical therapy students and a Clinical Supervisor who regularly assesses PT clinics' quality as potential rotational sites for his students.
Additionally he leads a team of Industrial Injury Prevention specialists at local and nationally based companies.
Mark holds a diploma in the McKenzie Method of rehabilitation and is the coauthor of the book “Why Does My Back Hurt So Much” which has been used by multiple companies as a tool to educate their employees on managing back pain.
As a lifelong athlete and husband to a physician who specializes in Integrative and Functional Medicine, Mark understands the need for a comprehensive approach to true and lasting health including targeted exercises, mindset, nutrition and understanding of a person's physiology as a whole. Mark graduated from Brooklyn's Midwood High School where he played and then coached football, played Division III College football, has run in four NYC Marathons (twice as a support for disabled athletes), has taught the self-defense discipline of Krav Maga, and was a long-standing coach of Youth Flag Football. He worked his way through college and graduate school as a full-time Emergency Medical Technician with NY Hospital - Cornell Medical Center Emergency Medical Services. He has 3 sons who he inspires by being a proactive, health-conscious role model.
Jonathan Einhorn, DPT
Home Care Services Coordinator
Dr. Jonathan Einhorn is a licensed physical therapist who is a dedicated partner in his patients' recovery, giving his care and attention to each one, so his or her optimal level of function can be reached. Jonathan received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the CUNY Graduate Center at the College of Staten Island after completing his Exercise Science bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College. He is skilled in both manual and exercise based therapies and treating people with a wide range of conditions.
Prior to entering Brooklyn College, Jonathan was lucky enough to travel abroad and completed his entire high school education in Perth, Australia. Jonathan values the benefits of being active, for social as well as a basic need for self preservation. Being an avid outdoors person, Jonathan spends his free time camping, hiking, biking and remains fit by playing sports and weight training. Knowing and appreciating the value of being healthy for personal as well as family reasons, Jonathan is committed to the well being of his patients, and will do whatever it takes to make them healthy, engaged and proactive in their self care.
Mohamed Ibrahim, DPT, OCS

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of Staten Island, graduating with high academic honors and awards for outstanding research. Mohamed's work has resulted in numerous publications in the Journal of Neurophysiology. His strong background in understanding research allows him to incorporate the latest in scientific evidence to provide optimal therapeutic results.
Mohamed believes in treating the body as a whole to optimize the overall health of every patient. This is established by a thorough evaluation of each patient to determine the root cause of a dysfunction. Mohamed utilizes advanced manual therapy techniques as well as corrective exercises to address the dysfunctional movement patterns responsible for causing an injury. This approach allows for treatment of the injury itself as well as prevention of further injury.
Mohamed’s clinical interest includes orthopedic conditions, sports related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and vestibular conditions. As a sports and fitness enthusiast, Mohamed is passionate about getting athletes back in the game and utilizing sport-specific rehabilitation. Mohamed is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association sports and orthopedic sections and has become certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Stephanie Cipriano, DPT
Senior Physical Therapist
Dr. Stephanie Cipriano is a licensed Physical Therapist dedicated to improving every patient's function to help in achieving their individualized goals. Stephanie received her Doctorate degree at The College of Staten Island after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After working at Madison as a student, we knew immediately that we wanted her as part of our post-graduate clinical team. She's had a variety of additional clinical experiences including Acute Care at Brooklyn Hospital, Acute Rehab at Northwell Health, and Pediatric Outpatient Therapy at Leaps and Bounds.
Stephanie believes in treating every patient like a member of her family and always has their best interest in mind. She strives to go above and beyond to treat each patient according to their specific condition by creating a unique exercise and manual treatment plan for each individual patient. Stephanie takes extreme care of each individual on her caseload and always tries to treat “the person” directly rather than “the dysfunctional body part”. Stephanie uses her vast background in therapeutic exercise to help promote healing from the core and incorporates her caring personality mixed with an advanced clinical knowledge to treat each person and their specific needs to achieve full rehabilitation.
Osama Almanastirly, PT,DPT, OCS
Senior Physical Therapist
Dr. Osama Almanastirly is a licensed Physical therapist with almost a decade of experience treating neurological and complex orthopedic conditions. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy degree from Cairo University, he completed his doctorate degree from Touro college in 2010. He is Board Certified as a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist since 2017 and is currently pursuing Advanced Manual Therapy Training from the N. American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
Osama is an avid athlete and competitive soccer player who is known as a great clinical diagnostician, empathetic listener and advocate for his patients.
